Por medio deluso de la información incluida en el Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) en su reporte para Colombiaen 2010, se toman las pymes que inician su proceso de internacionalización en sus primeros a˜nos decreación, y con un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales se comprueba que variables como característi-cas del emprendedor, factores internos, características del sector y del entorno, innovación y recursosy capacidades de la pyme determinan el proceso de internacionalización temprana de las pymes enColombia.spa
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is to identify the factors influencing export development of small and mediumenterprises (SMEs) with early internationalization in Colombia. Through the use of the information inclu-ded in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in its report for Colombia in 2010, the SMEs that starttheir internationalization process in the first years of creation are taken, and with an equations modelit shows that structural variables such as, characteristics of the entrepreneur, internal factors, characte-ristics of the sector and the environment, innovation and resources, and capabilities of SMEs, determinethe early internationalization process of SMEs in Colombia.spa
