Desde una mirada sensible y crítica, se propone el arte no solo como un medio de representación, sino como una forma activa de pensamiento, capaz de construir sentido y tejer vínculos entre territorios y comunidades diversas. El proyecto convoca a un grupo de 15 artistas emergentes cuyas prácticas abordan la identidad cultural desde distintas experiencias territoriales y simbólicas. A través de un proceso de curaduría autogestionada y participativa, se busca construir colectivamente los guiones expositivos y los espacios de diálogo, permitiendo que las obras no solo se exhiban, sino que interactúen, se resignifiquen y activen nuevas lecturas sobre el cuerpo, la memoria, el territorio y la pertenencia. Metodológicamente, se adopta un enfoque cualitativo, exploratorio y participativo, que articula la gestión cultural con la investigación desde las artes visuales. Se emplean herramientas como la observación estética del proceso, la elaboración de bitácoras, los registros visuales y audiovisuales, y el análisis de las propuestas artísticas, con el fin de comprender las transformaciones simbólicas que surgen a lo largo del intercambio. El proyecto se desarrolla en tres fases principales: la gestión y planeación (alianzas, convocatorias y criterios curatoriales); la implementación artística y curatorial (selección y acompañamiento de artistas, construcción del guion expositivo y realización de exposiciones conjuntas); y la documentación y análisis (recolección de material sensible, testimonios y elaboración de una memoria final). Más allá de la exposición, Miradas Compartidas se concibe como un dispositivo estético y simbólico, donde los procesos de creación y circulación artística se entienden como formas de pensamiento colectivo, de autonomía creativa y de reconocimiento cultural, en el que cada artista, desde su territorio, aporta una mirada que amplía la noción de identidad y diversidad en el arte contemporáneo latinoamericano.Miradas Compartidas is a research–creation project that seeks to understand the difficulties faced by emerging artists in accessing spaces for the exhibition and circulation of their work, and how, through artistic exchange, it is possible to activate processes of reflection, dialogue, and transformation around cultural identity. From a sensitive and critical perspective, the project proposes art not only as a means of representation, but as an active form of thought, capable of constructing meaning and weaving connections between diverse territories and communities. The project brings together a group of 15 emerging artists whose practices address cultural identity from different territorial and symbolic experiences. Through a process of self-managed and participatory curatorship, the aim is to collectively build exhibition narratives and spaces for dialogue, allowing the works not only to be displayed, but to interact, be re-signified, and activate new readings of the body, memory, territory, and belonging. Methodologically, the project adopts a qualitative, exploratory, and participatory approach, articulating cultural management with research from the field of visual arts. Tools such as aesthetic observation of the process, the creation of logbooks, visual and audiovisual records, and the analysis of artistic proposals are employed in order to understand the symbolic transformations that emerge throughout the exchange. The project is developed in three main phases: management and planning (partnerships, open calls, and curatorial criteria); artistic and curatorial implementation (artist selection and accompaniment, construction of the exhibition narrative, and the realization of joint exhibitions); and documentation and analysis (collection of sensitive material, testimonies, and the production of a final record).
