Se pretendía hallar los cambios que han transformado la afición taurina y las posibles variables que intervinieron en estos a lo largo de la historia de Cañaveralejo. A partir de esto, se encontró que, como toda cultura propia de una sociedad, esta presenta transformaciones evidenciadas en el número de asistentes a la plaza de toros y que estas no solo obedecen a elementos externos como los empresarios organizadores de la fiesta ni a los opositores de la cultura taurina, sino a la evolución generacional de sus miembros.This undergraduate thesis aimed to analyze the bullfighting fandom, as a cultural practice, from the emergence of the Cali Fair in 1957 up to 2017, through semi‑structured interviews and discussion groups with social actors, members of the bullfighting club La Sultana, and a press review of seventy editions of the newspaper El País. The intention was to identify the changes that have transformed the bullfighting fandom and the possible variables that influenced these changes throughout the history of Cañaveralejo.
