Abstract
El incremento de los riesgos en Internet está en aumento debido al mal uso del mismo, una de las poblaciones más afectadas son los menores de edad quienes pueden encontrarse con estafadores en línea, ciberbullying, pedófilos en línea e incluso ser parte de redes de explotación sexual comercial, entre otros. En el barrio San Sebastián de Ternera en Cartagena está ubica la Fundación Educativa Renacer, es una población considerada vulnerable debido a que se encuentra en medio de flagelos como prostitución, hurto, sicariato, uso y expendio de sustancias alucinógenas. Los padres y las madres de los alumnos de la Fundación manifestaron preocupación por el uso de Internet de sus hijos e hijos y sintieron que los menores de edad están expuestos a distintos tipos de riesgos en Internet, además confirmaron el uso de herramientas técnicas para el control de los infantes en el uso de Internet y mostraron la necesidad de conocer métodos para supervisar y proteger a sus hijos e hijas de los riesgos de Internet. Es por eso, que en este trabajo se presenta el diseño de una estrategia educomunicativa para la mediación parental activa del uso de Internet de niños y niñas entre los 8 y 11 años a través de un proceso cocreativo y colaborativo de padres y madres de familia de la Fundación cuyo objetivo es identificar los riesgos de Internet a través del aprendizaje conjunto entre padres, madres y la investigadora para gestar la mediación activa del uso de Internet en niños y niñas entre 8 y 11 años de edad. La propuesta se sustenta teóricamente a través de la mediación parental, la cual puede ser entendida como estrategia, acciones o interacciones entre los padres, niños, niñas y pantallas a partir de mecanismos empleados para beneficiar las audiencias infantiles en el uso del Internet maximizando las oportunidades y minimizando los riesgos. Se concluye que la mediación parental en padres y madres de familia activa en el proceso de aprendizaje de los menores de edad y el acompañamiento de padres y madres de familia a niños y niñas en el uso adecuado de Internet ayuda a gestionar vínculos entre los adultos y menores de edad que perduran en el tiempo además de motivar la confianza de menores de edad con los adultos, pero también motiva a los padres de familia a conocer el entorno digital.

For this reason, this paper presents the design of an educommunicative strategy for active parental mediation of the use of the Internet by boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 11 through a co-creative and collaborative process of parents of families of the Foundation whose objective is to identify the risks of the Internet through joint learning between fathers, mothers and the researcher to promote the active mediation of the use of the Internet in boys and girls between 8 and 11 years of age. The proposal is supported theoretically through parental mediation, which can be understood as a strategy, actions or interactions between parents, children and screens based on mechanisms used to benefit children's audiences in the use of the Internet, maximizing opportunities. and minimizing risks. It is concluded that parental mediation in active fathers and mothers in the learning process of minors and the accompaniment of fathers and mothers of families to children in the proper use of the Internet helps to manage links between adults and minors that last over time, in addition to motivating the trust of minors with adults, but also motivates parents to learn about the digital environment.
