Abstract
Los Smart Contracts representan una alternativa interesante para la celebración de actos y negocios jurídicos, debido a que son contratos que funcionan a través de una lógica de programación, y por lo tanto se ejecutan a sí mismos. En virtud de lo anterior, una vez establecidas las prestaciones del acuerdo, las mismas serán irreversibles, y automáticas, lo cual implica que no existe la posibilidad del incumplimiento contractual. En ese sentido, los Smart Contracts ofrecen la posibilidad de celebrar convenios novedosos que distan de la necesidad del papel e intermediarios.

Smart Contracts represent an interesting alternative for the execution of legal acts and businesses, because they are contracts that work through a programming logic, and therefore execute themselves. By virtue of the foregoing, once the provisions of the agreement are established, they will be irreversible and automatic, which implies that there is no possibility of contractual breach. In this sense, this legal tool offers the possibility of entering into innovative agreements that are far from the need for paper and intermediaries.
