Abstract
La presente investigación está orientada al análisis de las continuidades y transformaciones en las prácticas afectivas de familias biparentales del municipio de Jamundí en el Valle del Cauca. Se mira la importancia que tiene la familia como institución social y constituyente de núcleo básico donde los hijos nacen, crecen y reciben educación. Esto teniendo en cuenta que la familia se ha visto en la necesidad de ejercer modificaciones en la educación brindada en cuanto al desarrollo y crianza de los niños de acuerdo a los cambios culturales y/o necesidades de cada hogar. Se trata de una investigación de tipo cualitativa en donde se utilizan como instrumento de recolección de la información la Entrevista Semiestructurada. Así mismo, se realiza un análisis de la literatura existente frente al tema en mención. Se analizan los resultados con base en las categorías de análisis de la investigación. Se establece la discusión para dar respuesta a los objetivos planteados analizando los resultados de la misma y se plantea la discusión de los resultados. Finalmente se emiten conclusiones.

The present investigation is oriented to the analysis of the continuities and transformations in the affective practices of two-parent families in the municipality of Jamundí in Valle del Cauca. It looks at the importance of the family as a social institution and constituent of the basic nucleus where children are born, grow up and receive education. This taking into account that the family has seen the need to make modifications in terms of the development and upbringing of the children that compose it. It is a qualitative research where the Semi-structured Interview is used as information gathering instruments. Likewise, an analysis of the existing literature on the subject in question is carried out. The results are analyzed based on the categories of research analysis. The discussion is established to respond to the proposed objectives, analyze the results of the same and discuss the results. Finally conclusions are issued.
