dc.description.abstractEl texto aborda la importancia de los espacios de participación juvenil en Colombia, destacando el papel del Consejo Distrital de Juventud de Santiago de Cali como una instancia autónoma encargada de la participación, vigilancia y control de la gestión pública en la ciudad. La investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la gestión de la comunicación entre los miembros del Consejo, los funcionarios de la Secretaría de Participación Ciudadana y Desarrollo Territorial, y su relación con las comunidades juveniles en el período 2021-2023. Se emplea una metodología cualitativa con entrevistas semiestructuradas a los consejeros, funcionarios de la Secretaría, y la persona encargada de gestionar la comunicación del Consejo. Los resultados muestran las diferencias en las trayectorias de los consejeros, los factores que influyen en su participación, y las dificultades.
dc.description.abstractengThe text addresses the importance of youth participation spaces in Colombia, highlighting the role of the District Youth Council of Santiago de Cali as an autonomous body in charge of participation, monitoring and control of public management in the city. The research aims to analyze the management of communication between the members of the Council, the officials of the Secretariat of Citizen Participation and Territorial Development, and their relationship with youth communities in the period 2021-2023. A qualitative methodology is used with semi-structured interviews with the councilors, officials of the Secretariat, and the person in charge of managing the Council's communication. The results show the differences in the trajectories of the councilors, the factors that influence their participation, and the difficulties
