dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se realizó en una universidad privada en la ciudad de Cali, teniendo en cuenta el contexto del COVID-19 y los cambios de vida laboral que implica este. Se tiene como objetivo general analizar el impacto de los determinantes sociales en la salud mental del profesorado. Es una investigación con un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, de diseño metodológico transversal, correlacional. Se utilizó una batería de instrumentos para medir las variables de estudio, incluyendo indicadores de salud mental, dimensiones del tecnoestrés, y algunas dimensiones de la batería de riesgo psicosocial. La muestra se conformó por 123 participantes, siendo el 61% de género femenino y 39% masculino. Respecto a salud mental, se encontró que el 97.6% tienen ansiedad moderada y prevalece menor bienestar psicológico del 56.1%. En las condiciones laborales se encontró que existe un riesgo alto en demanda de jornada de trabajo del 33.3%. Asimismo, se observó relación significativa con género, fatiga tecnológica donde p = 0.03 y demanda de carga mental en relación con el estrés. Se llega a la conclusión que el estrés y ansiedad tienen resultados significativos en la investigación; y se logró identificar que se tiene un riesgo en la salud mental asociado a algunos determinantes sociales.
dc.description.abstractengThis research was carried out at a private university in the city of Cali, taking into account the context of COVID-19 and the changes in working life that this implies. The general objective is to analyze the impact of social determinants on the mental health of teachers. It is a research with a quantitative, non-experimental approach, with a cross-sectional, correlational methodological design. A battery of instruments was used to measure the study variables, including mental health indicators, dimensions of techno-stress, and some dimensions of the psychosocial risk battery. The sample consisted of 123 participants, 61% being female and 39% male. Regarding mental health, it was found that 97.6% have moderate anxiety and less psychological well-being prevails in 56.1%. In working conditions, it was found that there is a high risk in the demand for a working day of 33.3%. Likewise, a significant relationship was observed with gender, technological fatigue where p=0.03 and mental load demand in relation to stress. It is concluded that stress and anxiety have significant impact in the investigation; and it was possible to identify that there is a mental health risk associated with some social determinants.
