dc.description.abstract	El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las dinámicas de las relaciones fraternales en torno a la revelación de la orientación homosexual o bisexual de uno de los integrantes del subsistema familiar. El diseño con el que se trabajó fue narrativo por tópicos, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a cinco personas homosexuales o bisexuales y a sus hermanos/asheterosexuales en la ciudad de Cali. Se encontró que, la revelación de la orientación sexual en relaciones fraternales es influenciada por la dinámica familiar y las creencias culturales y religiosas. A menudo, el proceso de revelación es gradual, comenzando con amigos cercanos y luego con los padres, generalmente confiando primero en la madre. Sin embargo, las reacciones iniciales de quienes reciben la revelación suelen ser negativas, influenciadas por sus creencias religiosas. El apoyo emocional entre hermanos tiene un papel crucial, independientemente de la naturaleza previa de la relación, actuando como un refugio emocional. Las relaciones fraternales y el apoyo relacional son esenciales para el bienestar emocional y la aceptación de la diversidad sexual dentro de la familia. Se observa que las dinámicas de las relaciones familiares fraternales tras la revelación de la orientación sexual son influenciadas por creencias familiares, actitudes hacia la diversidad sexual y apoyo emocional. El apoyo entre hermanos es fundamental, mostrando la capacidad de adaptación y resiliencia. Una de las limitaciones más importantes es la accesibilidad a la población y el tiempo limitado de la búsqueda de ella.
dc.description.abstracteng	The objective of this study was to analyze the dynamics of fraternal relationships around the revelation of the homosexual or bisexual orientation of one of the members of the family subsystem. The design with which we worked was narrative by topic, semi-structured interviews were carried out with five homosexual or bisexual people and their siblings/aheterosexuals in the city of Cali. It was found that the disclosure of sexual orientation in fraternal relationships is influenced by family dynamics and cultural and religious beliefs. Often the disclosure process is gradual, starting with close friends and then parents, usually confiding in the mother first. However, the initial reactions of those who receive the revelation are usually negative, influenced by their religious beliefs. Emotional support between siblings plays a crucial role, regardless of the previous nature of the relationship, acting as an emotional refuge. Sibling relationships and relational support are essential for emotional well-being and acceptance of sexual diversity within the family. It is observed that the dynamics of fraternal family relationships after the disclosure of sexual orientation are influenced by family beliefs, attitudes towards sexual diversity and emotional support. Support between siblings is essential, showing the capacity for adaptation and resilience. One of the most important limitations is the accessibility to the population and the limited time spent searching for it.
