dc.description.abstractLa vida y más en el año 2020 con el inicio de pandemia, demostró de manera tangible que nada es estático, y que todos deben estar preparados al cambio y mantenerse actualizados, ser innovadores y propositivos al mejoramiento continuo. La salud en Colombia ha tenido avances en el sistema de salud que ha permitido un acceso universal de los usuarios al sistema general de seguridad social en salud SGSSS, a través del aseguramiento obligatorio obteniendo una cobertura del 97.78% al cierre del 2020 según cifras del DANE. A sí mismo la población colombiana cuenta con un aseguramiento voluntario que permite obtener un conjunto de beneficios extras con financiación diferente a una cotización obligatoria. El enfoque de este trabajo de grado busca profundizar sobre los modelos de atención enmarcados en el aseguramiento voluntario para mejorar la calidad y la seguridad de la atención. Por esta razón nace la necesidad de hacer un mapeo del comportamiento de las patologías evitables, que brinda información sobre su manejo, el impacto en la situación actual de salud y como el control de ellas repercute directamente en los costos hospitalarios, en la excelencia del servicio, la disminución de la siniestralidad, abriendo la puerta para un análisis que permite unir formas de contratación y atención integral para el manejo de las hospitalizaciones agudas potencialmente evitables.
dc.description.abstractengLife, and more so in the year 2020 with the onset of the pandemic, tangibly demonstrated that nothing is static, and that everyone must be prepared to change and keep updated, be innovative and proactive to continuous improvement. Health in Colombia has had advances in the health system that has allowed universal access of users to the general social security system in health SGSSS, through the mandatory insurance obtaining a coverage of 97.78% at the end of 2020 according to DANE figures. At the same time, the Colombian population has a voluntary insurance that allows obtaining a set of extra benefits with financing different from a mandatory contribution. The focus of this degree work seeks to deepen on the models of care framed in the voluntary insurance to improve the quality and safety of care. For this reason, there is a need to map the behavior of avoidable pathologies that provides information on how they are managed, their impact on the current health situation and how their control has a direct impact on hospital costs, on the excellence of the service, on the reduction of the accident rate, opening the door to an analysis that allows joining forms of contracting and comprehensive care for the management of potentially avoidable acute hospitalizations.
