dc.description.abstractEste documento tiene como propósito dar a conocer los resultados de la investigación sobre los impactos que trajo a las comunidades de los corregimientos de Quinamayó y Bocas del Palo en el municipio de Jamundí, la presencia y accionar del Bloque Calima de las Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC) entre 1999 y 2002. El estudio se propone identificar las afectaciones que a nivel individual, familiar, plural, colectivo y diferencial han vivido los habitantes de estos territorios, que por su ubicación geográfica y su importancia estratégica para la región han sido escenarios del accionar de los grupos subversivos, los narcotraficantes y las AUC, además de estar ligados a la historia de la autora, originaria del corregimiento de Quinamayó, quien vivió de cerca las historias y comparte las huellas que dejan las afectaciones en la familia y sus cercanos. Teniendo en cuenta que existen pocos estudios sobre la presencia de las AUC en el sur del Valle del Cauca, uno de los objetivos de este proceso es permitir a la población mayoritariamente afrodescendiente autoreconocerse a partir de la recopilación de los impactos sobre la historia vivida, a la vez que pretende identificar los ámbitos en los que la comunidad se ha sobrepuesto ante esta coyuntura. En segundo lugar, se propone la contextualización del conflicto armado interno para ubicar los sucesos de violencia en los corregimientos mencionados, luego se rastrean las motivaciones de las AUC para incursionar en la zona; y en un tercer momento se presentan las afectaciones que ha identificado la comunidad y las oportunidades que se han creado tras la retirada de las AUC. Finalmente se presentan las conclusiones de la investigación.
dc.description.abstractengThis document aims to present the results of the research on the impacts brought to the communities of the districts of Quinamayó and Bocas del Palo in the municipality of Jamundí by the presence and actions of the Calima Bloc of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) between 1999 and 2002. The study aims to identify the individual, familial, plural, collective, and differential effects experienced by the inhabitants of these territories, which, due to their geographical location and strategic importance for the region, have been stages of action for subversive groups, drug traffickers, and the AUC, as well as being linked to the history of the author, who is originally from the district of Quinamayó and has closely experienced these stories, sharing the traces left by the impacts on family and loved ones. Considering the limited number of studies on the presence of the AUC in the southern Valle del Cauca, one of the objectives of this process is to allow the predominantly Afro-descendant population to recognize themselves through the compilation of the impacts on their lived history, while also aiming to identify the areas in which the community has overcome this situation. Secondly, the document proposes the contextualization of the internal armed conflict to place the acts of violence in the mentioned districts, then traces the motivations of the AUC to enter the area, and in a third moment presents the impacts identified by the community and the opportunities created after the withdrawal of the AUC. Finally, the research conclusions are presented.
