dc.description.abstractLa importancia que tiene la sexualidad en los seres humanos se ha visto ligada a la historia de la humanidad y es precisamente por esto que es un tema que se torna importante, y mucho más en ciertas etapas como la adultez temprana. Es por ello que este trabajo tiene como objetivo general Comprender las concepciones y actitudes de los adultos emergentes frente a la sexualidad y la pornografía en universidades de Cali, Colombia. Lo anterior, se realizó a través de una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura y una investigación cualitativa, con un diseño fenomenológico, donde participaron 10 estudiantes (5 hombres y 5 mujeres) de distintas universidades de Cali, Colombia. En este estudio se ha manifestado el impacto que tiene la exposición al consumo de pornografía y las creencias impartidas por parte de los agentes socializadores sobre la percepción que tienen los adultos emergentes acerca de su propia sexualidad y la de los demás. Aquí se evidenció que la exposición a la pornografía, y la participación -o no- de agentes socializadores en los procesos de socialización sexual puede tener un impacto significativo en la forma en que los jóvenes ven su propia sexualidad y la de los demás. Además, se discuten las implicaciones de estos hallazgos para la educación sexual y se proponen recomendaciones para ayudar a los jóvenes a desarrollar una comprensión más saludable y equilibrada de su identidad sexual.
dc.description.abstractengThe importance of sexuality in human beings has been tied to the history of humanity, and it is precisely because of this that it becomes an important topic, especially in certain stages such as early adulthood. This is why the general objective of this work is to understand the conceptions and attitudes of emerging adults towards sexuality and pornography in universities in Cali, Colombia. This objective was pursued through an exhaustive literature review and a qualitative investigation with a phenomenological design, involving 10 students (5 men and 5 women) from various universities in Cali, Colombia. This study highlighted the impact of exposure to pornography consumption and the beliefs imparted by socializing agents on emerging adults' perceptions of their own sexuality and that of others. The study revealed that exposure to pornography, and the involvement - or lack thereof - of socializing agents in the sexual socialization process, can significantly impact how young people view their own sexuality and that of others. Furthermore, the implications of these findings for sexual education are discussed, and recommendations are proposed to help young people develop a healthier and more balanced understanding of their sexual identity.
