Abstract
Este proyecto nace de la necesidad de demostrar que los videojuegos son más que un instante de ocio, que realmente traen beneficios que pocos conocen, más allá de solo un momento lúdico o de distracción. Todo viéndolo desde la actualidad, en la que los videojuegos hacen parte de la infancia de los niños, pues los tiempos han cambiado y ahora sus formas de juego son a través de una pantalla. Entonces, ¿Qué pasaría si se ven los videojuegos más allá de un método de diversión? Precisamente ese es el propósito de este trabajo, dar tranquilidad y entendimiento a los padres de que sus hijos no solo están pasando un buen rato divirtiéndose, sino que también pueden estar adquiriendo conocimientos, aprendizajes y desarrollando habilidades. Además de que al conocer los beneficios pueden potenciar su relación con sus hijos, acercándose más a ellos al estar involucrados en lo que les gusta. Aquí se mostrará mediante el uso de un sistema de comunicación visual los aportes que pocos conocen de los videojuegos.
This project arises from the need to demonstrate that video games are more than just a moment of leisure—they actually bring benefits that few people are aware of, beyond mere entertainment or distraction. Considering today's reality, where video games are an integral part of children's childhood, as times have changed and their ways of playing now involve screens, we must ask: What if video games were seen as more than just a means of fun? That is precisely the purpose of this work—to provide parents with reassurance and understanding that their children are not only having a good time but also acquiring knowledge, learning, and developing skills. Additionally, by recognizing these benefits, parents can strengthen their relationship with their children, getting closer to them by engaging in what they enjoy. This project will use a visual communication system to showcase the lesser-known contributions of video games.
