dc.description.abstractLa historia de Colombia ha estado marcada por diversas dinámicas de exclusión, que se reflejan en el acceso real y efectivo a derechos fundamentales como el de la vivienda. En este contexto, actores sociales de sectores populares han logrado integrarse al sistema político, social y económico a través de acciones colectivas, lo que ha contribuido a la construcción de nuevas formas de ciudadanía. Este proceso se evidencia claramente en la experiencia y praxis del líder social Mario Upegui, especialmente en los procesos de la Central Nacional Provivienda y del Barrio Policarpa, enmarcados en la lucha por la vivienda en Colombia, entre 1961 y 1991.
dc.description.abstractengThe history of Colombia has been marked by various dynamics of exclusion, which are reflected in the real and effective access to fundamental rights such as housing. In this context, actors Social groups of popular sectors have managed to integrate into the political, social and economic system through collective actions, which has contributed to the construction of new forms of citizenship. This process is clearly evident in the experience and praxis of the social leader Mario Upegui, especially in the processes of the National Provivienda Central and the Policarpa neighborhood, framed in the fight for housing in Colombia, between 1961 and 1991.
