dc.description.abstractObjetivo: analizar las representaciones sociales (RS) frente a los Derechos Sexuales y Derechos Reproductivos en hombres jóvenes de la comuna 18 y 54 de la ciudad de Cali. Método: investigación cualitativa con diseño fenomenológico interpretativo. Contó con una muestra de 10 hombres entre los 18 y 25 años, de estratos 1 y 2. La muestra fue seleccionada por conveniencia. Se realizó análisis temático con ayuda del software Atlas Ti. Resultados: respecto a la información sobre los DSDR, si bien poseían información, presentaron dificultades para reconocerlos de manera explícita. Además, se halló que todos la han recibido de experiencias personales y la interacción social, priorizando las conversaciones con familiares y pares. Respecto a las actitudes frente a los DSDR, las valoraciones que hicieron dependían del tópico que se abordara. En ese sentido, para la educación sexual, el uso de métodos anticonceptivos y algunos DS, la actitud fue favorable; frente a la IVE y la orientación sexual las actitudes fueron ambivalentes. Respecto al campo de representación las concepciones frente a estos derechos estuvieron atravesadas por sus experiencias personales. Finalmente, frente a la categoría emergente “atribuciones asociadas a las normas de género”, se evidenció que las RS sobre los DSDR están atravesadas por los roles de género. Conclusiones: los participantes poseen un conocimiento limitado sobre los DSDR, influenciado por normas culturales y sesgos de género. Acceder a información precisa puede impactar en su campo de representación, en las actitudes que poseen y por tanto transformar sus RS hacia estos derechos, promoviendo posturas más inclusivas.
dc.description.abstractengObjective: to analyze the social representations (SR) regarding Sexual Rights and Reproductive Rights in young men from Communes 18 and 54 of the city of Cali. Method: qualitative research with an interpretive phenomenological design. It included a sample of 10 men between 18 and 25 years old, from strata 1 and 2. The sample was selected by convenience. A thematic analysis was performed with the help of the Atlas Ti software. Results: regarding information on DSDR, although they had information, they had difficulties in recognizing it explicitly. In addition, it was found that all of them had received it from personal experiences and social interaction, prioritizing conversations with family members and peers. Regarding attitudes towards DSDR, the assessments they made depended on the topic being addressed. In this sense, for sexual education, the use of contraceptive methods and some DS, the attitude was favorable; regarding IVE and sexual orientation the attitudes were ambivalent. Regarding the field of representation, the conceptions regarding these rights were influenced by their personal experiences. Finally, regarding the emerging category "attributions associated with gender norms", it was evident that the SR on the DSDR are influenced by gender roles. Conclusions: the participants have limited knowledge about the DSDR, influenced by cultural norms and gender biases. Accessing accurate information can impact their field of representation, the attitudes they have and therefore transform their SR towards these rights, promoting more inclusive positions.
