| dc.description | Preeclampsia is a hypertensive disease that occurs after the 20 weeks of pregnancy, it is characterized by causing damage to various organs of the human body, mainly the liver and kidney, for this reason, it will be evidenced in laboratory tests: proteinuria, increased liver enzymes, hemolysis, oliguria, increased creatinine levels, thrombocytopenia, etc. The finding of thrombocytopenia during pregnancy always raises concern for clinicians due largely to the multiplicity of etiologies that must be considered to make a diagnosis. This topic review aims to analyze the presence of genetic factors that predispose or influence the development of thrombocytopenia in women with preeclampsia, highlighting to the reader the importance of prenatal controls in the prevention of diseases in pregnancy, keeping in mind risk factors associated with the development of pathologies in maternal and carry out the appropriate treatment to avoid complications in the gestation period. A literature search was conducted in the MedLine (PubMed), Clinical Key, and Science Direct databases, without restriction in time or language, considering the articles that described the diagnostic aspects, the genetic factors involved in the development of thrombocytopenia in preeclampsia, obtaining 57 articles after their selection process. | en-US |
| dc.description | La preeclampsia es una enfermedad hipertensiva que ocurre después de la semana 20 del embarazo, se caracteriza por causar daños en varios órganos del cuerpo humano, principalmente en el hígado y riñón, en razón a ello se evidenciara en los exámenes de laboratorio: proteinuria, aumento de las enzimas hepáticas, hemolisis, oliguria, aumento de los niveles de creatinina, trombocitopenia, etc. El hallazgo de una trombocitopenia durante la gestación siempre genera preocupación al personal clínico debido en gran parte a la multiplicidad de etiologías que se deben considerar para realizar un diagnóstico. En esta revisión de tema tiene como objetivo analizar la presencia de factores genéticos que predispones o influyen en el desarrollo de la trombocitopenia en mujeres con preeclampsia, destacándole al lector la importancia que tienen los controles prenatales en la prevención de enfermedades en el embarazo, tener presente factores de riegos asociados al desarrollo de patologías en las maternas y realiza el tratamiento oportuno para evitar complicaciones en el periodo de gestación. Se realizó una búsqueda en la literatura en las bases de datos MedLine (PubMed), Clinical Key y Science Direct, sin restricción en tiempo ni idioma, teniendo en cuenta los artículos que describieran los aspectos diagnósticos, los factores genéticos implicados en el desarrollo de trombocitopenia en la preeclampsia, obteniendo 57 artículos después del proceso de selección de los mismos. | es-ES |
