dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación surge en razón a la preocupación existente en la actualidad por la preservación de las tradiciones y riqueza cultural de los grupos indígenas ubicados en el departamento del Cauca, limitándose su estudio al municipio de Buenos Aires que ha sido históricamente reconocido por ser víctima del conflicto armado y de las acciones violentas perpetradas por la guerrilla de las FARC y del ELN en entre otros grupos armados. Se tiene entonces de viva voz de los indígenas entrevistados y a partir de documentación consultada que, después del conflicto armado sus costumbres han cambiado para siempre, su forma de ver el mundo, incluso su forma de comunicarse, motivo por el cual, le asiste al estado una obligación grandísima para contribuir no solamente en su protección sino también en la preservación de sus tradiciones como patrimonio de nuestra nación ya que se pudo concluir que aunque en la actualidad muchas de las tradiciones, costumbres, prácticas de la medicina ancestral y lengua nativa se mantienen vigentes, se encuentran amenazadas por diversos factores como la falta de voluntad de los mayores por enseñarla o de los nuevas generaciones por aprenderlas; sumado a la evidente pérdida de otros elementos como por ejemplo los relacionados con la cosmovisión y las creencias religiosas que a la fecha no se conservan por haber sido sustituidas por el cristianismo.
dc.description.abstractengThe present investigation arises due to the concern that currently exists for the preservation of the traditions and cultural wealth of the indigenous groups located in the department of Cauca, limiting its study to the municipality of Buenos Aires, which has been historically recognized for being a victim of the armed conflict and the violent actions perpetrated by the FARC and ELN guerrillas among other armed groups. It is then clear from the indigenous people interviewed and from the documentation consulted that, after the armed conflict, their customs have changed forever, their way of seeing the world, including their way of communicating, which is why the state assists a great obligation to contribute not only to its protection but also to the preservation of its traditions as the heritage of our nation, since it was concluded that although many of the traditions, customs, practices of ancestral medicine and native language are currently maintained in force, are threatened by various factors such as the lack of will of the elders to teach it or of the new generations to learn them; added to the obvious loss of other elements such as those related to the worldview and religious beliefs that are not preserved to date because they have been replaced by Christianity.
