dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de grado tuvo como objetivo identificar las representaciones sociales del amor de pareja en un grupo de adultos jóvenes, hombres y mujeres, de la ciudad de Cali. Para esto, se realizó un estudio cualitativo de casos múltiples, con participación de 12 adultos jóvenes heterosexuales y homosexuales, elegidos a partir del método de cadena. Se utilizó como instrumento la entrevista semiestructurada compuesta por 28 preguntas alrededor de los tres objetivos específicos planteados. Los resultados evidenciaron que las representaciones sociales ante el amor de pareja están conformadas primordialmente por fuentes de información familiares y relacionales. Por otro lado, se encontró que se mantienen actitudes favorables hacia el amor en torno a sentimientos de apoyo, libertad y plenitud; y actitudes desfavorables al mencionar el dolor y sufrimiento que ocasiona la pérdida de la relación. Asimismo, en el sistema de creencias de los participantes prima el estar en pareja como una experiencia significativa; identificando también representaciones visuales y verbales que ejemplifican el amor de pareja como un proceso de construcción y transformación, siendo una base principal, pero también con posibilidad de ser un vínculo efímero. Se concluyó que la representación social del amor de pareja se ha transformado de un amor romántico a un amor confluente, en donde predomina la creación y fortalecimiento de vínculos interpersonales, así como la intimidad y la proyección a futuro.
dc.description.abstractengThe present thesis aimed to identify the social representations of romantic love among a group of young adults, both men and women, in the city of Cali. A qualitative multiple case study was conducted, involving 12 heterosexual and homosexual young adults selected through chain referral sampling. The research employed a semi-structured interview instrument comprising 28 questions aligned with three specific objectives. Results revealed that social representations of romantic love are primarily shaped by familial and relational sources of information. Furthermore, participants displayed favorable attitudes towards love, emphasizing support, freedom, and fulfillment, while expressing unfavorable attitudes towards the pain and suffering associated with relationship loss. Additionally, participants' belief systems highlighted being in a couple as a significant experience, identifying visual and verbal representations that exemplify romantic love as a process of construction and transformation, serving as a foundational but potentially ephemeral bond. It was concluded that the social representation of romantic love has evolved from romantic love to confluent love, emphasizing the creation and strengthening of interpersonal bonds, intimacy, and future projection.
