dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo, el cual es un estudio de caso, tiene como objetivo general, evaluar la alternativa de aprovechamiento de residuos cerámicos de construcción como agregados para la elaboración de concretos no estructurales. Se ejecutó en un proyecto de vivienda de interés prioritario (VIP) llamado Paisaje de Las Flores ubicado en el municipio de Jamundí, de la constructora Bolívar. El sistema constructivo es en mampostería estructural en bloques de arcilla cerámica, las casas son de dos pisos y tienen un área construida de 41,36 m2. La metodología, consiste en: la selección y análisis del proyecto, la evaluación, la generación del RCD, la fabricación del Agregado Reciclado (AR) y la elaboración de los concretos no estructurales con Agregado Reciclado Cerámico (ARC) en obra y laboratorio, para finalmente realizar el análisis de los resultados obtenidos. Los resultados de la caracterización muestran que los ARC, cumplen con algunas especificaciones normativas. Sin embargo, en propiedades como durabilidad, realizada en la máquina de los Ángeles, no cumple. Adicionalmente, es importante tener en cuenta 16,82% de absorción por lo que resulta necesario tener un ajuste de humedad previamente al proceso de fundición. Finalmente, se puede concluir que fue posible elaborar concretos no estructurales con el 20% de reemplazo con ARC sin comprometer las propiedades mecánicas.
dc.description.abstractengThe present work, which is a case study, has the general objective of evaluating the alternative of using ceramic construction waste as aggregates for the elaboration of non-structural concretes. It was executed in a housing project of priority interest (VIP) called “Paisaje de las Flores” located in the municipality of Jamundí, of the Bolívar construction company. The construction system is in structural masonry in ceramic clay blocks, the houses are two-story and have a constructed area of 41,36 m2. The methodology consists of: the selection and analysis of the project, the evaluation, the generation of the RCD, the manufacture of the Recycled Aggregate (AR) and the elaboration of non-structural concretes with Recycled Ceramic Aggregate (ARC) in work and laboratory, to finally carry out the analysis of the results obtained. The results of the characterization show that the ARCs meet some normative specifications. However, in properties such as durability, made in the Los Angeles machine, it does not comply. Additionally, it is important to take into account 16,82% absorption, which is why it is necessary to have a humidity adjustment prior to the casting process. Finally, it can be concluded that it was possible to make non-structural concretes with 20% replacement with ARC without compromising the mechanical properties.
