| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se propuso analizar los cambios en las prácticas de crianza que identifican madres de dos generaciones (abuelas e hijas) de familias negras que viven en el oriente de Cali. La muestra se conformó por 6 participantes de tres familias, tres abuelas y tres madres (una por cada familia), donde las abuelas vivieron un proceso de migración desde el Pacífico colombiano. Este estudio es cualitativo y se realizó bajo un diseño narrativo; se recolectó la información por medio de dos entrevistas semiestructuradas elaboradas a partir de la revisión bibliográfica y la identificación de las categorías. Los hallazgos demuestran que hay diversas prácticas de crianza que se dan en los territorios litorales y que pueden ser transmitidas y aceptadas por las generaciones que se criaron en la ciudad, sin embargo, esto dependerá de la perspectiva que se tengan de ellas. También se observó que tanto las madres como las abuelas han roto con diversos patrones generacionales en pro de sus dinámicas familiares y del desarrollo personal. Por último, se concluyó que los cambios en la crianza entre las generaciones se ven influenciados por diversas variables, y no exclusivamente por la experiencia de migración. | |
| dc.description.abstracteng | This research aimed to analyze changes in parenting practices that identify two-generation mothers (grandmothers and daughters) of black families living in eastern Cali. The sample consisted of 6 participants from three families, three grandmothers and three mothers (one for each family), where the grandmothers had a migration process from the Colombian Pacific. This study is qualitative and was conducted under a narrative design; the information was collected through two semi-structured interviews prepared from the bibliographic review and the identification of categories. The findings show that there are various breeding practices that occur in the coastal territories and that can be transmitted and accepted by the generations that were raised in the city, however, this will depend on the perspective that they have of them. It was also observed that both mothers and grandmothers have broken with various generational patterns in favor of their family dynamics and personal development. Finally, it was concluded that changes in parenting between generations are influenced by various variables, and not exclusively by the migration experience. | |
