dc.description.abstractEste documento, se centra en identificar un método adecuado que permita evaluar el nivel de madurez de la gestión de producción de proyectos de infraestructura vial y urbana, en la entapa de ejecución, de una empresa constructora de la ciudad de Cali. El trabajo se desarrolla desde revisión de literatura con el fin de identificar cuáles son las herramientas o metodologías más adecuadas que permitan realizar un diagnóstico de la empresa constructora, enfocado en la implementación de mejores prácticas establecidas o recomendadas en un modelo o modelos de gestión estándar. La necesidad de saber cómo se encuentra la organización frente un modelo de gestión estándar está motivado en el interés de generar una estrategia que permita direccionar y alinear las acciones pertinentes para conducir a la organización a un estado de productividad y eficiencia superior. De acuerdo con los diferentes autores que se referencian en el contenido del presente documento, existen en la actualidad varios modelos de evaluación que tienen como objetivo establecer el estado de madurez de las organizaciones, algunos de ellos son: Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3), Modelo de Madurez (CP3M) y Modelo de madurez HAROLD KERZNER. Lo que se busca en este estudio es elegir mediante unos criterios de selección el modelo de madurez que sea más conveniente y adaptable a las necesidades de la empresa constructora caso de estudio y aplicarlo. Por medio de una encuesta realizada a profesionales de la construcción se definen los criterios de selección del modelo, una vez definido el modelo de madurez se realiza su adaptación para su posterior aplicación, lo cual permitirá identificar de una manera medible el nivel de madurez de la organización y de esta modo poder identificar sus fortalezas y debilidades para finalmente proponer una mejora que sea implementable a corto plazo y que lleve a la organización a un nivel de madurez superior.
dc.description.abstractengThis document presents a study proposal which consists in evaluating the performance level of the production management of infrastructure projects in the execution stage of a construction company in the city of Cali. To contextualize the work, a literature review has been previously conducted in order to identify which are the most appropriate tools or methodologies that allow a diagnosis of the company, focused on the implementation of best practices established or recommended in a model or models of standard management. The need to know how the organization is facing a standard management model is motivated in the interest of generating a strategy that allows directing and aligning the relevant actions to lead the organization to a state of superior productivity and efficiency. According to the different authors that are referenced in the content of this document, there are currently several evaluation models that establish the maturity status of organizations, some of them are: Maturity model of organizational project management (OPM3), Maturity Model (CP3M) and HAROLD KERZNER Maturity Model. What is sought in this study is to identify, by means of selection criteria, the maturity model that is most convenient and adaptable to the needs of the construction company case study and apply it. To establish the criteria for selecting the model, a review and characterization of the processes established in the company's management system will be carried out, once the maturity model has been defined, its application will be carried out, which will allow a measurable identification of the maturity level of the organization and thus be able to identify its strengths and weaknesses to finally propose an improvement that is implementable in the short term and that leads the organization to a higher level of maturity.
