Abstract
De la Mano con la 21" es un corto documental que muestra cómo la barra brava Palmira La 21, filial de Barón Rojo Sur y que apoya al América de Cali está llevando a cabo proyectos de barrismo social para ayudar a personas en situación de vulnerabilidad en el municipio de Palmira. A través de las voces de tres miembros de la barra y del líder, se presentan los tres proyectos que tiene actualmente la barra. Los objetivos de este trabajo de grado fueron: identificar cómo La 21 actúa frente a las problemáticas del municipio de Palmira., exponer cómo la cultura, la música y el deporte ayudan a los jóvenes de Palmira a disfrutar de su tiempo libre a través de los proyectos de La 21 y demostrar la importancia de La 21 en la vida de sus miembros. Este trabajo de grado aborda temas como las representaciones sociales, las culturas juveniles, fanaticadas internacionales, barras bravas en Colombia y el barrismo social. La metodología fue cualitativa, por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas a los miembros de la barra. Asimismo, se presentan en el cortometraje documental imágenes de la cuadra, de la barra, los cánticos y la emoción de los partidos, así como el seguimiento a los proyectos de barrismo social que están llevando a cabo, como un comedor comunitario, una escuela de fútbol juvenil y un semillero musical. Las conclusiones de este trabajo buscan mostrar el impacto positivo que La 21 está teniendo en la comunidad de Palmira, cambiar la imagen negativa que tiene la sociedad en Palmira de las barras bravas, en especial la de Palmira La 21. Por último, resaltar la solidaridad y el compromiso social en la juventud

"De la Mano con la 21" is a short documentary that shows how the fan group Palmira La 21, a branch of Barón Rojo Sur that supports América de Cali, is carrying out social projects to help vulnerable people in the municipality of Palmira. Through the voices of three members of the group and its leader, the documentary presents the three projects currently undertaken by the fan group. The objectives of this thesis were: to identify how La 21 acts in response to the issues in the municipality of Palmira, to expose how culture, music, and sports help the youth of Palmira to enjoy their free time through the projects of La 21, and to demonstrate the importance of La 21 in the lives of its members. This thesis addresses topics such as social representations, youth cultures, international fan bases, fan groups in Colombia, and social fandom. The methodology was qualitative, through semi-structured interviews with members of the group. Additionally, the documentary short film presents images of the neighborhood, the group, the chants, and the excitement of the matches, as well as the tracking of the social fandom projects they are carrying out, such as a community dining room, a youth soccer school, and a music seedbed. The conclusions of this work seek to show the positive impact that La 21 is having on the Palmira community, change the negative image that society in Palmira has of fan groups, especially Palmira La 21, and finally, highlight solidarity and social commitment among youth.
