Abstract
Mensajes trazados es una propuesta que busca promover la práctica del lettering como herramienta para la configuración de mensajes de los estudiantes de Diseño de Comunicación Visual de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, a través de una estrategia pedagógica basada en el aprendizaje experiencial.
Este proyecto tiene como producto principal un taller de lettering dirigido a los estudiantes, que se articula como el eje central de un sistema producto compuesto por tres componentes: Memoria, que se orienta a preservar el taller; Exhibición, que busca dar visibilidad al taller, y Alcance, que pretende ampliar el impacto del taller.
Traced Messages is a proposal that aims to promote the practice of lettering as a tool for shaping messages by the Visual Communication Design students at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, through a pedagogical strategy based on experiential learning. The main product of this project is a lettering workshop designed for students, which serves as the core of a product system composed of three components: Memory, aimed at preserving the workshop; Exhibition, which seeks to give visibility to the workshop; and Outreach, which intends to expand the workshop’s impact.
