Abstract
Every day, the reading gap among Colombians grows wider as interest in this activity declines. This trend is evident in the updated 2020 studies by DANE, which show an average of only 1.9 books read per year. For this reason, the pedagogical dissemination of Colombian children's literature is considered essential to ensure it reaches everyone, including children, parents, teachers, librarians, readers, and even writers. This is why the project "Un Picnic de Letras" seeks to foster connection, closeness, and interaction with reading through an interactive tool and immersive experience. The initiative was initially carried out with the support of the Olivia Garcerá Library in the municipality of San Pedro and the students of the José Antonio Aguilera Educational Institution in the Los Chancos district.
